HazOp Studies

RPA have a wide ranging experience of carrying out HazOp studies, not only on all the designs which they generate, but also as independent chairman or secretary for other studies, or as the supplier of specific technical knowledge and experience for a particular aspect of a study.

Indeed, many projects with which RPA have become heavily involved have resulted from RPA’s specialist assistance during the HazOp process of proposals developed by others.

A key feature of all the detailed design or process development work which RPA carry out is that we carry out regular interim HazOp studies as the work develops. In this way, not only do we ensure that there will be no significant problems at the final HazOp but also we ensure that maximum levels of intrinsic safety, stability and robustness are built into all aspects of the final design, as the design progresses.
